The third quarterly meeting of the SatBałtyk Consortium took place on Wednesday, October 18, 2017 at 12:00 in the large seminar room of the IO PAN. The plan included a discussion of current affairs, a paper by Marta Konik “Sentinel 1,2,3 - a constellation of environmental satellites of the European Space Agency (ESA) Sentinel 1,2,3 - new possibilities for the SatBałtyk system” and further discussions on the potential possibilities of using data from the SatBałtyk System in environmental monitoring, which was presented in the communication: Tamara Zalewska “Assimilation of satellite and model data to the system for monitoring and assessing the state of the marine environment of the southern Baltic Sea”.
